Terms of Service

Using Milo

By creating an account or using Milo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Milo provides

Milo is a hosted workspace for running client work. Depending on the features you use, that can include proposals, invoices, projects, client records, onboarding data, shared links, and related business settings. We may update or improve the product over time, and some features may change as the product evolves.

Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, documents, and client-facing materials you create in Milo. You must not use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, infringement, or unsolicited communications. You are also responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for any activity that happens under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content and business data you upload or create in Milo. You give us a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate the service, support you, and improve reliability and security.

Shared links and client-facing pages

Some Milo features let you share proposals, invoices, or related materials by link. Anyone with the link may be able to view the content available at that URL, so you are responsible for sharing links only with the intended recipients. If Milo gives you a way to revoke or replace a shared link, you are responsible for using it when needed.

No professional advice

Milo is software, not legal, accounting, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing the documents and workflows you use through Milo and for making sure they fit your business and local requirements.

Availability and liability

Milo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the product reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from your use of Milo. If we are ever found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if you have not paid for Milo.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Milo at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or create security or legal risk for other users or for Milo.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may post the updated version in the product, on the website, or notify you through the contact details associated with your account. Continuing to use Milo after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
